Whether you are building a new home or adding on to an existing one, we are organized to develop your building project from start to finish. We manage each project individually and tailor the process to your specific needs.
Program Development
We work with our clients to develop their "wish list", discuss lifestyle patterns, their budget, determine the physical requirements of the project, and review any materials the client may have collected while planning the project.
Document Existing Condition
For new construction, we gather information about the site (its size and constraints), measure and take photographs of pertinent existing structures and natual features, and draw a base plan of these items.
For additions, along with performing the services rendered for new construction, we will also measure and draw plans and elevations so that the addition "fits" architechurally to the existing building.
We facilitate any septic design, roadwork, utility access and topographic surveys as required.
Construction Documents
We produce a set of drawings and specifications necessary to build the project. These documents may include floor plans, elevations, sections, interior elevations, details, foundation plans, electrical and/or mechanical plans, as well as notes or written specifications, and window, door, lighting and finish schedules.
Permitting
We submit the necessary drawings and specifications to the appropriate authorities for approval, and represent the client at permitting hearings as necessary. Construction Administration
Our project manager is on site during most of the construction to answer any questions that may arise. |
